A: I was born and raised in Amarillo, TX
Q: What do you do?
A: I run my family's antique shop, Texas Ivy Antiques. We are housed in a 1920's home located on Historic Route 66 in Amarillo, Texas. 2017 marks our 20th Anniversary here on the Route! We have a wide selection of items antique & collectable glassware; vintage, retro & Art Deco furniture; quilts & linens; yard & metal items & some unusual Route 66 items!
Q: First contact with Route 66
A: I was born near the Route, but didn't become truly involved until my return to Amarillo in 1999. I am currently the Old Route 66 Association of Texas president and the secretary/treasurer for the local Historic 6th on Route 66 Association.

A: So much needs to be done and the love of the people on the Road.
Q: What fascinates you, what do you like most?
A: Having a business along the Route is wonderful because you get to meet so many people from all over the world and just a few miles away!
Q: Do you have any inspirational quote or slogan?
A: No, but Bob "Crocodile" Lile has been a great inspiration.
Q: Anything else to share with the Germany audience?
A: The fact of how much we appreciate their love for and of Route 66 and the time and money they spend on traveling and promoting the Mother Road is a great help to each Mom & Pop business along the route.
